With our vast inventory of designs and patterns, many dating back to our first years, as well as the ability to research and create “from scratch” we have the ability to do what few others can. Innovative thinking is a daily mainstay in our custom job shops.
Bill Hipp, Sales Manager

Bill Hipp is Sales Manager and Chief Estimator and has been an integral part of our sales staff since 2003. In addition, he previously contributed service and expertise in our machine shop and fabrication shops, totaling more than 12 years of experience He is a great-grandson of the founder of Maddox, William Emory (Hitup) Maddox and also serves on the Board of Directors of the company as proxy for his mother, Valerie A. Hipp - one of the minority owners. Bill also combines his twenty-three years of experience in the agricultural and industrial equipment business, including five years in the animal feed and health field. Bill assists with the day-to-day work flow of jobs at the plant. Bill travels regionally for the company and is an integral part of our marketing team.
Chase Hope, Customer Service Manager/Estimator/Production Manager

Chase Hope is Customer Service/Production Mgr. and Estimator. Chase Hope is the great-great grandson of the founder, William Emory (Hitup) Maddox and has been working at Maddox since 2000. Chase started his career with us assisting his grandmother, Monte M. Marchant with payroll processing which created close relationships with Maddox employees. He used these relationships to expand his knowledge of the company products and services while managing the purchasing department. Chase combines his knowledge gained from purchasing and managing our inventory with his knowledge from the employees that results in a full understanding of Maddox's customized products and services. Chase has the ability to interpret and expedite our customers' requirements.
Dale Kalmbach, Engineering Supervisor

Dale Kalmbach is a draftsman,engineering technician and supervisor of our Engineering Department. He has studied electronics, machining, drafting, and CAD in the military, tech school and college. Dale has been with Maddox since 1995 and has worked in Sales as well as Engineering. As a technical representative he routinely visits client facilities to gather information necessary to evaluate the repair or replacement of equipment. In the office he spends much of his time drafting drawings from field notes, customer needs, facility parameters, existing equipment, required materials, tolerances, & manufacturer specifications. He also coordinates all paperwork necessary to track each job, including the work order, drawings, material & hardware, computer programs, quality control & quality assessment, and buy-outs. In the shops at Maddox, Dale is familiar with the equipment and processes required to move a job from start to finish. In the tradition of Maddox, Dale works closely with the customer in the field, the office, and the shops to achieve the desired results, and is exemplary of our continuous quality improvement philosophy and values.
Paul Sergile, M.E./Plant Engineer

Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, Paul Sergile is our current Plant Engineer. He oversees engineering operations and projects as well as quality assurance and control. He began working at Maddox in 2006, while still in the College of Engineering, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering program at the University of Florida. As a quality control inspector for the machine and fabrication shops, Paul became immersed in the customized diversity of our projects. Paul graduated from UF with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and has been promoted to our credentialed Mechanical Engineer. Paul inspects and analyzes parts and equipment for repair or replacement as requested or required by the customer and ensures that a quality job is done on every part. He remains challenged with opportunities from our newly acquired E2 Shoptech manufacturing software to pursuing professional licensure. He also provides an integral leadership contribution as a member of our Safety Committee and Program.
